A practical drink setup for a travel ball tournament

Plan for changing fields, shared tables and long breaks.

Start with where you will sit

A cup holder does not create a table. Before choosing one, check whether the field offers a picnic table, a fixed bench with usable space, or room for your own stable side table. Sit down before choosing the drink position: a spot that looks convenient while standing may require an awkward reach once the chair is occupied.

Separate the drink from the equipment

Keep bat bags, folding-chair joints and the wagon loading area separate from the drink. Put the full 5.2-inch Steadi footprint on a level supported surface, with additional room for your hand. Do not span table gaps or place a base partly over an edge. A holder does not protect against a ball or a person bumping the table.

Reset between fields

Before folding chairs, moving a wagon or opening a cooler, pick up the drink itself and put it somewhere secure. Carry Steadi as a separate item when useful. At the next field, repeat the surface check; the previous field’s level table does not establish the next spot is suitable.

Pack for the drinks you actually bring

Measure the morning coffee cup and the reusable bottle separately. Bases 2–3.15 inches across are within the diameter range, but handles, boots and unusual shapes still need a seating check. A pack gives you more holders; it does not make one size of drinkware fit every model.
